BLEDCOM 2005 NEWSLETTER
This is the second issue of BledCom 2005 Newsletter – an electronic periodical that will provide you with the latest news and updates about upcoming symposium. BledCom is a public relations research symposium, which is being organised every year since 1994 by Pristop Communications in cooperation with EUPRERA. We believe you might be interested in receiving information about BledCom 2005 therefore we placed you on our mailing list; if not, we apologise – please just reply to this e-mail and we will remove you from our distribution list.
BledCom 2004 ProceedingsAfter each symposium we collect all presented papers and publish them in the proceedings. We are pleased to announce that the BledCom 2004 Proceedings are already prepared. We will shortly distribute them to all of the participants of BledCom 2004. All of the papers are published also at our official website www.bledcom.com.
BLEDCOM 2005 BledCom 2005 will be the 12th annual International Public Relations Research Symposium. It will take place from 1 until 3 July 2005 at Lake Bled, Slovenia. The theme of the upcoming symposium is Public Relations Metrics: Evaluation and Measurement.
Call for papers If you wish to participate at the symposium as a speaker, you are invited to submit full papers on theory, methodology and empirical evidence of measurement in public relations. All submissions must be sent no later that 1 February 2005 exclusively through the BledCom registration Website: www.bledcom.com/submission. Authors will be notified on the acceptance/ rejection by 15 March 2005. Detailed call for papers is published at www.bledcom.com.
Panel proposalThis panel seeks to provide a forum for scholars and practitioners studying the profession in developing and transitional economies to present their research data and case studies pertaining. We invite contributions that will address the assessment of the role and effectiveness of public relations/ corporate communication in developing countries and transitional economies. If you decide to participate, please visit www.bledcom.com for more information.
Registration If you decide to participate at the symposium, please register by filling out the form on official web site www.bledcom.com/registration. The regular registration fee is 550 euros, for EUPRERA members 350 euros and for students 150 euros.
Accommodation BledCom 2005 will take place in Golf Hotel Bled. Please, make reservation for rooms until 10 May 2005. You can get more information about accommodation on www.bledcom.com, or make the reservation directly with Ms. Jasmina Kristan at Golf Hotel Bled (e-mail: jasmina@gp-hoteli-bled.si). When you book the room, please identify yourself as a BledCom participant.
