Prof. Justin Green, President & CEO of the Global Alliance for Public Relations and Communication Management, addressed the World Bank Group, emphasizing the need for global collaboration on Responsible Communication.
The meeting, led by Corinne Woods, Director of Corporate Communications at the World Bank, included David Young and Mateus Furlanetto from the Global Alliance.
Prof. Green highlighted the role of good governance and ethical communication in solving global challenges and stressed that collaboration among global institutions is essential. His advocacy follows previous addresses at the United Nations (UN) and ASEAN, where he called for Responsible Communication to be recognized as the UN’s 18th Sustainable Development Goal (SDG).
Key Principles of Responsible Communication:
1. Open dialogue on issues like climate change, poverty, and democracy.
2. Dialogue as a powerful tool for change.
3. Freedom of speech and press.
4. Ethical, fact-based communication.
5. Fighting fake news and misinformation.
6. Educating individuals on responsible social media use.
7. Supporting independent and accountable journalism.
8. Promoting diversity, inclusion, and gender equality.
9. Empathy for those affected by poverty, war, and discrimination.
10. Using positive and inclusive language.
The Global Alliance reaffirms its commitment to ethical, inclusive, and transparent communication, positioning it as a fundamental tool to address global challenges.
Global Alliance promuove la Comunicazione Responsabile alla World Bank Group
Il presidente e CEO di Global Alliance, Prof. Justin Green, ha incontrato la World Bank Group per sottolineare l'importanza della collaborazione globale nella Comunicazione Responsabile. L'incontro, guidato da Corinne Woods, ha visto la partecipazione di David Young e Mateus Furlanetto.
Prof. Green ha ribadito come una comunicazione etica e trasparente sia essenziale per affrontare le sfide globali.
