Executive OfficerWe are looking for an Executive Officer to support and to grow the Global Alliance, which links together over 60 national public relations associations. You will report to Global Alliance officers.You will be an exceptional organiser and communicator with an understanding of the public relations community and the environment in which it operates. You will be self-motivated, be budget-conscious, be fully IT literate and understand and be able to operate in the new social media. You will also be sensitive to cultural differences, be able to work effectively with a largely volunteer and time-poor community, engaging member associations pro-actively.International experience is desirable and it will be an advantage to have a second major language in addition to excellent spoken and written English.A desk will be available at the HQ of the UK national body, the Chartered Institute of Public Relations, (see www.cipr.co.uk) in London, England; but the post-holder could be based elsewhere. Some travel will be necessary.TermsThere will be a three-month probationary period. Salary negotiable circa £25,000 sterling pa for a three-day week. Proposals for job-share and other forms of part-time working will be considered, subject to completion of tasks.
