He authors the Micro Persuasion weblog, which tracks how blogs and participatory journalism are changing the public relations practice.Pamela Parker is a journalist and managing editor of several units of the ClickZ Network News (formerly Internet Advertising Report) Features (formerly ChannelSeven.com, WirelessAdWatch and TurboAds) and Experts (the former ClickZ.com). She joined the company through the 1999 acquisition of @NY, a pioneering Web site and e-mail newsletter covering the burgeoning Silicon Alley scene. She has served as speaker and moderator at a wide variety of events, including the Jupiter/ClickZ AdForum, ClickZ E-Mail Strategies, Ad:Tech and the IAB Professional Development Series. She a lso performs online marketing duties for start-up family cashmere business, Tinker Knitwear. Parker received a master's degree in journalism, with a concentration in new media, from Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism.
