BledCom 2005, the 12th International Public Relations Research SymposiumPublic Relations Metrics: Evaluation and Measurement1 - 3 July 2005, Lake Bled, SloveniaMay 2004 BledCom 2005/ Newsletter no. 4Dear colleague, As for the past 12 years, the first weekend in July is booked for the traditional International Public Relations Research Symposium in Bled, Slovenia. The theme of BledCom 2005, which is taking place from 1 until 3 July 2005, is Public Relations Metrics: Evaluation and Measurement. The symposium is being organised by Danny Moss (Manchester Business School, UK), Dejan Verčič (University of Ljubljana and Pristop d.o.o., Slovenia), and Jon White (University of Birmingham, UK) in cooperation with EUPRERA. Program of BledCom 2005 In this year we had an excellent response to the BledCom's call for papers as we received 36 full papers. The Program Committee composed of Prof. Dr. Betteke van Ruler (University of Amsterdam, The Netherlands), Doc. Dr. Ana Tkalac Verčič (University of Zagreb, Croatia) and Doc. Dr. Dejan Verčič drafted the program. Papers to be presented in the Panel on PR metrix in transitional countries were selected by Krishnamurthy Sriramesh (Nanyang Technological University, Singapore) and Ronel Rensburg (University of Pretoria, South Africa). In order to provide enough time to all of the speakers who are selected to present their papers at the symposium the Program Committee decided to accept 12 papers to the main program. The papers will be presented on Friday and Saturday. On Sunday a relaxing hiking will be organized, so you can get a feeling of Slovenian beautiful nature. RegistrationIf you decide to participate at the symposium, please register by filling out the form on official web site www.bledcom.com/registration. The regular registration fee is 550 euros, for EUPRERA members 350 euros and for students 150 euros. The registration fee also includes access to full papers that are already published at BledCom's website. You will receive your username and password at the registration. All of you who already registered to participate at BledCom will receive all the needed information by e-mail by the end of the week at latest. AccommodationBledCom 2005 will take place in Golf Hotel Bled. Please, book your room as soon as possible.
