You are warmly invited to participate in the event focusing on the changes and challenges that the Bologna Accord, and the emerging CSR approach to education, bring to research in scholarly fundamental disciplines.*The Focus of the Day*The European University system is currently undergoing profound changes brought about through educational reform. The Bologna Accord creates the basis for a pan-European educational system structured around the BA/MA system. This development is leading to a proliferation of new MA programs that cross traditional departmental lines of inquiry. This has potential implications for the organisation and conduct of the research that informs higher level education. We do not yet know the consequences these educational reforms will lead to in terms of the practice of CSR research. Will the planning of new educational programmes bring about a better collaboration between researchers in the field of CSR? Will a higher level of competition between Universities bring about a better internal cooperation? The intent of thi! s workshop is to explore these issues using CSR research as a 'pars pro toto' for general developments in the University system.**
