Useful information for PR Professionals

Dear Global Alliance Friend,
___________1. Help Communicate the World Public Relations Festival ______________
As you already know the next World Public Relations Festival and Conference will take place in London 23-24 June 2008. The World Public Relations Festival has become a singular event in the PR field closely related with the Global Alliance's mission to unify and link the profession. Next year's event will be organised by the Chartered Institute of Public Relations ( www.cipr.co.uk/wprf08 ) and the main theme will be "The Public Benefit of Public Relations". Everyone is invited to create links on their websites and weblogs for the official page for this event and for the Global Alliance webpage which will soon feature information about the programme, invited speakers, fringe events and registration details.
_______ 2. Share Your Experience in an Important Study on Media Transparency _______
Communication Professionals are invited to participate in the international research: "The Study of Media Transparency and Payments for News Coverage Practices Worldwide". This study is being led by Dr. Katerina Tsetsura from the University of Oklahoma and is promoted by The Global Alliance, the Institute for Public Relations (an independent research and education foundation in the US) and IPRA.
Being strongly committed with Ethics and with the promotion of global standards on the practice of Public Relations, the Global Alliance recommends that you take this survey and share it with your local professional community. It will take you 15 to 20 minutes to complete the survey and you can access it at www.surveymonkey.com/s.aspx?sm=_2bQbGrm_2bHMlx2SU_2bhOvrIdw_3d_3d . Please don't fill out the survey more than once.
